How teachers are assigned
Who teaches you and when the name appears.
A teacher is attached to an individual course — one teacher for the whole course. How it happens depends on what you chose at checkout.
You picked a teacher yourself
The teacher you picked at checkout is attached to the course as soon as the payment is confirmed — their name then appears in the “Getting started” block.
You left “Pick a teacher for me”
We will find a teacher who fits your course and your preferred times. While we are looking, the step looks like this:

Once the teacher is assigned, the step closes and lesson scheduling becomes available:

Changing your teacher
You cannot change the teacher yourself — write to the school, a senior teacher arranges the swap. Buying more lessons does not change the teacher.
Group courses
On a group course the teacher belongs to the cohort rather than to you: the name appears together with the schedule once you are placed in a group.
